Emily Vinick is an art director, strategy nerd, conceptual content creator, design perfectionist, writer, chef, painter, dog lover, washed up soccer player & spaghettio hater.
Emily Vinick also does not like writing about herself in third person. Hi! I'm Emily and I'm so glad you're here.
I've been obsessed with ads since I can remember. At age 7, my best friend and I created jingles for everything from dish detergent to department stores for self-inflicted commercial breaks in our iMovie-produced daily news show, Nose Witness News. Now she's my roommate and a copywriter, so it checks out. Since then, I have expanded from jingles, and am no longer a self-employed nose news anchor. But my passion for advertising has only grown.
I've worked on everything from organic & paid social media for CPG & QSR brands to Pharma, and lots in between. I've generated millions of organic & paid impressions for brands of all sizes, started a social media war for Utz, helped to develop a campaign for Heart Attack survivors for Repatha, and wrote a script or two for Amy Poehler x Subway (7 year old me is screaming).
I currently work as a Senior Art director at The Sasha Group, a VaynerX company, leading teams of content creators, designers, and copywriters to create full funnel campaigns rooted in organic social media, and scaled to paid social, TV, experiential & OOH.
I work closely across departments, collaborating with strategy and account to create socially informed campaigns that combine brand objectives with social sentiments and learnings. Whether knee deep in the scrappiest of shoots or helping to lead high fidelity campaigns, I am a speedy problem solver, relentlessly hard worker, and often—the comedic relief.
Aside from my work, I have a passion for cooking, painting, thrifting, soccer-playing, creating fake ads in my head (okay maybe this qualifies as work?), and building an egg empire on Tik Tok.
